Print – Naturens miljoner små mirakel

Millions of tiny miracles happen all the time in nature. Here, there and everywhere, if we can just take the time to stop and witness what is going on. Yes, that is the truth. I have to remind myself of this time and time again as I am a very fast-paced doer. I love efficiency and getting things done. Painting, practising yoga, going for walks and meditating are what restore my equilibrium, what balance me and bring me down to earth. Otherwise, I probably would’ve missed my life as it swished past and would’ve missed out on all the beautiful, tiny miracles.

When I focus on being here and now, it’s as if I am entering a different world. I become more mindful of the present; my vision is sharper, and I see, feel and hear more. Like I’m soaking up the atmosphere, enjoying being here and now. That is why it is vital to seek balance, to be able to exist with the right amount of both energies and to find harmony. Pressing the gas pedal and taking action spurs me on, while the being here and now slows me down and has a calming effect on me so that I can tune in and sense what is happening. Yin and yang, right.
